Kids In The Kitchen Summer Cooking Classes

Join us for another summer of fun-filled kids cooking classes.

Below are the details of the upcoming classes we are offering. You can register using the Event Registration form at the bottom of the page.

June 15 Summer Fun Recipes...Sorry Class Has Reached Full Capacity

Thursday, June 15, 3:30-5:30 pm

Class description: Students will spend time in the kitchen creating 2 recipes to take home to share with their families. Students will learn kitchen safety, recipe reading, measuring skills, kitchen sanitation.

Location: Cooking Around Town, 110 Providence Trail, Suite 1105, Mt. Juliet
Cost: $55
Ages: 8+
Menu: Camping Chicken Quesadillas & Popovers with Mixed Berry Sauce
What to Bring To Class: mixing bowl, mixing spoon, spatula (any thing you want to bring to help mix), regular size muffin tin, 9x13 baking dish or something similar in size for quesadillas

June 22 Summer Fun Recipes

What to Bring To Class: mixing bowl, mixing spoon, spatula (any thing you want to bring to help mix), regular size muffin tin for meatloaf cupcakes and loaf pan for Hawaiian banana bread.

July 6 Exploring International Cuisines

Thursday, July 6, 3:30-5:30 pm

Class description: Students will spend time in the kitchen creating 2 recipes to take home to share with their families. Students will learn kitchen safety, recipe reading, measuring skills, kitchen sanitation.

Location: Cooking Around Town, 110 Providence Trail, Suite 1105, Mt. Juliet
Cost: $55
Ages: 8+
Menu: Italy: Baked Stuffed Shells and Italian Cookies
What to Bring To Class: mixing bowl, mixing spoon, spatula (any thing you want to bring to help mix), cookie sheet, Tubberware container to store cookies, baking dish for the stuffed shells with lid if possible.

July 13 Exploring International Cuisine

Thursday, July 13, 3:30-5:30 pm

Class description: Students will spend time in the kitchen creating 2 recipes to take home to share with their families. Students will learn kitchen safety, recipe reading, measuring skills, kitchen sanitation.

Menu: Mexico: Mexican Casserole and Tres Leches Cake
What to Bring To Class: mixing bowl, mixing spoon, spatula (any thing you want to bring to help mix), baking dish with lid if possible for casserole and 9x13 cake pan (or whatever size you have on hand)

July 20 Exploring International Cuisine

Class description: Students will spend time in the kitchen creating 2 recipes to take home to share with their families. Students will learn kitchen safety, recipe reading, measuring skills, kitchen sanitation.

Menu: Cajun/Creole: Red Beans & Rice and Cajun Cake
What to Bring To Class: mixing bowl, mixing spoon, spatula (any thing you want to bring to help mix), square or rectangular cake pan with lid if possible, large pot with lid for red beans and Tupperware container with lid for rice.
